• learn about the present progressive (estar + -iendo/-ando)
• take the Speaking portion of our final (June 5th)
• take the Writing portion of our final (June 12)
• review the vocab and grammar from the entire year
• take the listening, reading, vocab & grammar portion of final on June 17th and 18th

Tarea: Finish review packet for homework - complete everything except for the wordsearch at the back; Due Wed, June 10

6th:

This month we will.....

• take a quiz (post test) on subject pronouns and the forms of ser
• take an open notebook test on vocab and grammar from throughout the year
• create and present conversations with classmates

This month we will:

• learn about the "go" verbs
• have a quiz on meaning of Chp 4 verbs
• complete a brochure project on the activities, classes, clubs of a school
• have a Chp 4 test
• start Chp 5

This month we will:

• synthesize the vocab and grammar we have learned so far by creating conversations to present to classmates
• learn how to say "going to" do something
• Have Term 3 test
• continue working with Chp 4 grammar

6th grade

This month we will:

• continue learning about how to tell time in Spanish
• present our Readers Theater stories (Days 1 & 3 - Mar 12; Days 2& 4 - Mar 11; please RSVP to rgough@hinghamschools.org, if you'd like to attend)
• have a test on time and articles
• begin working with descriptive adjectives

febrero

7th grade
This month we will:

• synthesize the vocab and grammar we have learned so far this year by creating comic strips
• continue working with Tener phrases
• start Chapter 4 in Descubre

Tarea: Comic strip project is due on Friday, Feb. 6.  We will work in class on Wednesday, Feb 4  to start it.
Tarea (Wednesday, Feb 11): Spend at least 15 mins studying your tener phrases (the meanings).  Spend more time if you do not feel you know them well. (Check the helpful website links -tener phrases -for some Quizlet practice)
Tarea (Tues, Feb 24): Finish ER, IR worksheet
Tarea: (Thurs, Feb 26): Study for vocab quiz on Chp 4 vocab - use flashcards!

6th grade

This month we will:

• continue rehearsing for our Readers Theater presentations (postponed until:March 11 and 12)
• continue working with new vocabulary
• start learning how to tell time in Spanish

enero

7th grade
This month we will:

• write letters to penpals, synthesizing vocab and grammar that we have learned this year
• take the Term 2 exam
• tell another story
• work with ER verbs

Tarea: Finish paragraph about you, family/friends; due Tuesday, Jan 6

Tarea:  "Una carta" project due on Thursday, Jan 8.
Tarea:  Term 2 test will be on Thursday, Jan 15 and Fri, Jan 16. See test info sheet. Spend each night beforehand studying for at least 15 mins - come to class with any questions.
Tarea:  Study ER/IR verbs meaning for Wednesday's class

Tarea: Term 2 Tic Tac Toe menus are due on Fri, Jan 23.

6th grade

This month we will:

• continue to rehearse for our Readers Theater presentations in February
• begin learning about Articles
• review weather, days/months vocabulary
