7th, B BLOCK:  This month we will focus on Chapter 4 of Descubre, and begin learning about stem-changing verbs.  We will have a test on the first half of Chapter 4 as well as a few quizzes and mini-projects.

Tarea:  Los dichos mini-project due Tuesday, Mar 4.  Quiz on querer and ir on Thursday, Mar 6.

6th:  We will wrap-up our study of ser this month and begin reviewing vocabulary and grammar from Terms 1 & 2.

Tarea:  Quiz on ser and subject pronouns on Wednesday, Mar 5 (C & D BLOCKS, Days 1 & 3), and Thursday, Mar 6 (C & D BLOCKS, Days 2 & 4).
Tarea:  Open-notebook tests that were started in class are due on Thursday, Mar 13 (C & D BLOCKS, Days 1 & 3) and Friday, Mar 14 (C & D BLOCKS, Days 2 & 4).

Tarea:  Conversation projects are due: Thursday, Mar 20 (D BLOCK, Days 2& 4), Friday, Mar 21 (C & D BLOCKS, Days 1 &3) and Monday, Mar  24 ( C BLOCK, Days 2 & 4).  You will present with your group, and pass in your rough draft, final draft, and rubric.

6th: This month we are working with weather and days of the week vocabulary as well as the verb "ser".  We will participate in another story as well.

8th: This month we will work with Chapter 4 vocabulary and grammar. The topics include: past times, sports, lots of different verbs, and place vocabulary.

Tarea:  The Spanish "dichos" mini-project is due in class on Monday, Mar 3.  If you used your time wisely in class on Friday, Feb 28 - you should not need more than 10 mins to finish it in class on Monday.  If you did not, you may need to work on the mini-project over the weekend and bring it in on Monday, Mar. 3.

7th:  This month we will wrap up Term 2.  We are studying possessive adjectives and tener phrases from Chapter 3 of the textbook.
Tarea: Test 3 will be on Friday, January 17.  It will include possessive adjectives/how to show possession, tener, tener phrases, and previously tested vocabulary - family and adjectives.  Refer to test outline for more info.  Study session afterschool on Tuesday, January 14 in Rm 127.
Tarea: Due Wednesday, January 22.  Finish wordsearch and make meaning flashcards for ER and IR verbs on pg 97 of Descubre. 
Tarea: Due Friday, January  31.  Flashcards for Chapter 4 vocabulary from notes that were taken in class today. (pg 150 en Descubre, under Pasatiempos).



6th:  We will study the grammar topic of "articles" this month.  We will also participate in a story and continue to build upon reading comprehension skills.
